When it is talked about the Muslims it comes to know that approximately 750 million people belong to the most well-known and prominent religion Islam. Percentage of the Muslims in the world is almost 2% in Europe & America, 15% in Sub-Saharan Africa, 20% in Middle East and North Africa and 62% in Asia-Pacific who are practicing Islam. Islam came out during near the beginning of 7th Century in Arabia. Islam is a relationship between human being and his Maker. In the early period, Muslims had strong faith in their religion and they remained steadfast with their faith and kept their hopes lofty to overcome and spread the religion by its preaching.

Islamic life is based on Holy book of God called Qu’ran. The Qu’ran is an evidence of the accurate words exposed by God all the way through the Angel Jibraeel to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). It deals with all the aspects of life and subjects concerning to human being’s worship, wisdom, principles and law. Qu’ran is one of the Holy books even one letter of it has not been changed over the period larger than the centuries.

Al-hadith or Sunnah and biography of the Prophet of God Muhammad (peace be upon him) are another source for the basis of Islamic life. Muhammad (peace be upon him) is the last Prophet of Allah Who delivered the message of peace and the sermon of Islam for the human being. Along with the fundamentals of Islamic Religion, the very vital part is the faith in one God “Allah” who is the maker of this universe, Lord, Proprietor, Ruler and the Master of all that exists in the universe. The major fundamentals of Islam are defined under as:

Shahada (witness of faith) is an oath to Allah (God) that there is no God but Allah and Prophet Muhammad Sallalaho Alay hi wasalam is His last and final messenger. Salat (prayers) is a way of interaction between Allah (God) and His believer. Zakat is the purification of wealth by helping the poor or needy people. Sawm (fasting the month of Ramadan) is a purification of soul. Fasting means non participation from water and food and abstinence from sexual contact during the given hours declared in this religion. Hajj (Pilgrimage to Macca) completely washes the sins and foliage as sinless as new-born baby.
